Estate Planning Trust

Put yourself in control of where your assets go.

To make sure your wishes are achieved, you will be required to give instructions stating who you wish to receive parts of your estate, along with what it is and when they receive it. With the lowest fees in legal fees, taxes and costs from courts in mind.

The Process

How It Works

1. Protect Your Wealth

In most cases our clients often protect their main residence and sometimes savings with a trust. The trust will ring-fence these assets from future unforeseen events that could, under normal, circumstances, see these assets disappear into the hands of ‘unintentional beneficiaries’ Trusts have been used for hundreds of years to keep clients assets in their family. We set trusts up for our clients every day. They love the fact that the contents are only for themselves and their family. The rest of the world is excluded!

2. Avoid Probate

Our Estate Planning Trust holds your assets outside of your estate. The main benefit of this means that your loved ones can inherit more or less straight away after you have passed away. Your assets held in trust bypass the need for probate saving the time and expense of probate. Maybe you have fallen out with one of your children and do not wish them to inherit? They could make a claim against your will but claiming against a trust is extremely difficult. A trust ensures the people you want to inherit WILL get what you wanted.

3. Best for your Beneficiaries

What do you think would happen if you passed away whilst one of your loved ones was in the middle of a divorce? A large chunk of your life’s hard work could be lost because your beneficiary is not in the right place in their life to inherit from your estate. What if they were going through a bankruptcy or maybe they have become ill and are receiving care? If they were to inherit via an Estate Planning Trust they could leave their share of the inheritance inside the trust where it is perfectly safe. Once they are in a better position, maybe when their Decree Absolute has finally arrived, they can enjoy all of the legacy you have left behind.
